He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Virginia.
Anthony has a broad background spanning inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings.
He has managed complex mental and physical health needs for diverse patient populations, including his work at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and VCU Health, where he treated conditions such as Mood Disorders, Thought Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, and various Personality Disorders.
Prior to joining Owl Creek Counseling Anthony served as the clinical supervisor for Virginia Supportive Housing’s Intensive Community Treatment team, where he provided dedicated, in-home support to Richmond’s vulnerable populations, including individuals dealing with severe mental illness, chronic homelessness, recidivism, and co-occurring substance use disorders. In addition to outpatient medication management and psychotherapy services, Anthony brings years of hands-on experience and is deeply committed to compassionate, patient-centered care, supporting individuals at every stage of their mental health journey.
